Isolates are stored on agar medium in glass tubes at 15-20 ml with glass and cotton-gauze plugs. Strains are placed in the fridge at temperature of 10-14 º C with optional backlit fluorescent lighting - LB-40 (PAR 15 mmol m-2 s-1). Periods of light / dark are 10/14 hours. Replanting is held once in 3-6 months.
