地理的範囲

The Koygorodskiy National Park was organized by the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 07.12.2019. The area is 56.7 thousand hectares. The forests of the national park, located in the Koygorodskiy and Priluzskiy districts of the Komi Republic in the ecotone band of the middle and southern taiga subzone. The predominant vegetation type on the territory of the national park was deciduous forests derived from coniferous boreal forests. Mature aspen forests occupied vast watershed areas and predominated in the Koygorodskiy National Park. The majority of aspen forests belonged to old-growth overmature stands. In the lower layers of the stands (6–8 m height) spruce (Picea obovata Ledeb.) predominated, regular admixture of birch (Betula pubescens Ehrh., Betula pendula Roth), fir (Abies sibirica Ledeb.), pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) occurred. Sometimes the stand included rowan (Sorbus aucuparia L.). The young generation consisted fir, spruce, birch and aspen. Sorbus aucuparia or Rosa acicularis Lindl. predominated in the undergrowth. The second most represented forest formation in Koygorodskiy National Park was spruce forests of Picea obovata. The stands were old-growth, the age of individual trees was up to 250-270 years. There was a constant admixture of birch and aspen. Birch, pine and fir forests occupied small areas.

収集方法

The authors contributing to the dataset used standard methods of fungal collection. The results of this study were documented in the Herbarium of the Institute of Biology of Komi Scientific Centre of the Ural Branch RAS (SYKO).

Study Extent Since 2021, systematic work to identify species diversity of mushrooms in the territory of the Koygorodskiy National Park has been started. In 2021, work was carried out in the northern part of the park in the vicinity of the tourist camps «Matvei Shor» and «Fedorovka». As a result of these works, the first information on the mycobiota of basidial fungi was obtained (Palamarchuk, Kosolapov, 2022). In August-September 2022-2023, research was continued in the vicinity of the tourist camps «Gran» and «Senyuk», located in the southeastern and western parts of the park. Previously collected mushroom collections in the vicinity of the tourist camps «Fedorovka» and «Matvey Shor» were also processed. As a result of these works, the list of agaricoid basidiomycete species of the reserve increased by 148 species (Palamarchuk, 2024). In 2024, the work was continued in the northern part of the park, in the vicinity of the «Fedorovka» tourist camp.
Quality Control Data has been collected, and species identification was made and checked by mycologists from the Institute of Biology of Federal Research Centre Komi Science Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Some specimens were verified mycologist from Komarov Botanical Institute RAS. Taxonomic names spelling were verified using Index Fungorum database. Taxonomic names were brought to modern synonyms by the same source. The dataset was checked for errors and cleaned by methods described by R. Mesibov in A Data Cleaner's Cookbook [Mesibov 2021].

Method step description:

  1. The data of field studies of the authors conducted in the Koygorodskiy National Park (Komi Republic, Russia) were summarized on the MS Excel sheet. When carrying out field work, a route method was used to survey the sites typical for the growth of agaricoid fungi. For all identified locations of the specimens, geographical coordinates were recorded using Garmin CSX 60 GPS receiver (WGS 84) and a brief description of phytocenotic parameters were fixed. The herbarium label data were taken from fungi collection of Institute of Biology of Komi Scientific Centre of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Herbarium (SYKO). The authors prepared occurrence data of every fungal occurrence record from the territory of the Koygorodskiy National Park, not previously published in GBIF, with a common xlsx-template based on the occurrence template recommended by the GBIF (https://www.gbif.org/ru/news/82852/new-darwin-corespreadsheet-templates-simplify-data-preparation-and-publishing). Authors were allowed to add Darwin Core terms as additional fields in their xlsx-files. The values in the fields “decimalLongitude” and “decimalLatitute” were filled with original GPS coordinates and the “coordinateUncertaintyInMeters” field was set to a single value of 30 meters (means standard error of the GPS receiver). The "associatedReferences" field was used in order to reflect the reference to the publication of species occurrence. The bibliography for this database includes the following sources: 1.
