The attached files contain the results of a synthesis of all available literature for the north-east of European Russia on studies of aquatic and soil algoflora of tundra, forest-tundra, forest and mountain ecosystems. More than 2000 algae and cyanobacteria have been identified so far in the European north-east and in the northern regions of the Urals.
